Seasonal Sites

Build a tradition. Stay as long as you like. Come back as often as you desire. Join the community of seasonal campers at Tohickon Family Campground.

Seize more summertime.
Rather than spending just 1 or 2 weeks away during the summer, stretch that vacation time out across a season full of long weekends. Seasonal camping makes it easy and affordable to escape at a moment's notice a lot more often.

Simplify your Setup.

Seasonal camping is a convenient option for those who want the camping experience but don't have a tow vehicle or a place to store an RV when not on the road. This way of camping also helps time-strapped families get away more often to a nearby campground for a full season.
Discover great neighbors.
Renting a seasonal site at Tohickon Family Campground makes it easy to leave the RV hooked up, stocked up, and ready for relaxation.
Year Round Retreat.
Although water is shut off to most seasonal sites for the winter and most amenities are closed, the bathhouse is open year-round and seasonal sites are accessible to campers for year-round enjoyment.

We receive hundreds of requests every year for seasonal site openings.  While we are so glad to have so much interest in our seasonal community, managing these requests fairly has become very challenging.

In order to prioritize requests, we are no longer keeping a "waiting list" from one year to the next.  If you are interested in a seasonal site and we cannot accommodate you for the next season, you must contact us again next year to be placed on that year's waiting list again.

Priority is given to:

Family and Friends of current seasonal guests.

Guests who have already stayed with us in the past.

Those who are polite and well-mannered, who seem like they will contribute positively to our seasonal community.

"This is a well maintained, picturesque campground. The permanent sites are removed from the transient ones. There was good space between sites, more than at a KOA. No cable TV hookups, but good off the air reception. Would recommend highly and definitely return."
