Directions
Google directions most often will bring guests across the covered bridge, which has a limited clearance of 12 feet. The bridge is easily bypassed by taking Richlandtown Road to Covered Bridge Road, instead of turning onto Covered Bridge Road from E. Thatcher Road (see RED arrows on map above).
From the 4-way Stop at Thatcher and Richlandtown Roads, follow Richlandtown Road to Covered Bridge Road.
Alternatively, if you are taking Rt 313 from the south, turn right at the traffic light onto Rt 563 toward Nockamixon State Park. Take the first left onto Sterner Mill Road and immediately turn right onto Richlandtown Road, and follow to Covered Bridge Road.
